INGELOW ELEVATORS Ingelow at one time had two elevators the Atlas and the Security. These were built when the railroad first went through and expectations for grain were high. It was soon found that the land around could not support two elevators. Mr. John Morgan was the agent and looked after both elevators for about four years when the Security was closed. Roy Fraser was the operator in 1914- 1917, followed by George Bicknell, Armour Taylor, Gerald Mcilroy, Jack Elmhirst, Roy McCaw, Weldon Potter and Albert Pickup. The company was changed to the National Grain a number of years back, then was torn down by Henry Loewen in approximately 1979.
