PHYLLIS ARDRON (nee ERNEST) I am Olive and Joe Ernest''s daughter. I married Herbert Ardron, son of John and Lily Ardron in Douglas 1942, and took up residence in Hamilton, Ontario. We have three children: JoAnn, who is Mrs. Roy MacDonald of New Glasgo, Nova Scotia; Jim of Kitimat, B.e.; and Lynda, who is Mrs. Ross Williamson of Belleville, Ontario. Her husband is a school teacher of music and art in Belleville. Herbert is now retired. I will always remember when I was a child, of seeing Angus Lawrie come to my mother and father''s store and garage in Douglas, Manitoba. I think he used to phone from there, likely ordering things as he was going into Brandon. We happened to be on a trip when my cousin''s boy Terry died, near the end of May 1985. We came back in time for the funeral - a grave side one in Brookdale. What a lovely tidy cemetery it was! We took a tour of the village and I hope we can get back some day.
